The 1st quarter of 2022 saw the highest number of traffic fatalities in 20 years, and it was an increase of  7% from 2021. The increase hit Mid Atlantic States most where they saw a 52% increase and New England which saw a 32% increase in fatalities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why is this important? National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says risky behaviors &#8220;skyrocketed&#8221; in March 2020 and have not relented. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How will this be important?
