Texas Governor signed <a href=\"https:\/\/capitol.texas.gov\/tlodocs\/87R\/billtext\/html\/HB00019F.htm\">HB 19 (2021 | TX) <\/a> that attorneys for injured drivers, not at fault, say that the insurance coverage of the trucker, delivery driver or ride share won&#8217;t cover all  their medical costs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why is this important? The number of \u00a0motor vehicle lawsuits have increased by 118% while the number of crashes has increased by only single digits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How will this be important?  The bill&#8217;s author said, \u00a0\u201cIf there\u2019s any part of the bill that would hinder a Texans\u2019 ability to seek those damages, then the bill won\u2019t move.
