DROP is the result of a 2023 law known as\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/calmatters.digitaldemocracy.org\/bills\/ca_202320240sb362\" target=\"_blank\">the Delete Act<\/a>.
