Long Beach Township asserts it\u00a0did so because a state agency told it to do so. A natual reply as\u00a0that explanation worked well with our parents as 9 year olds- so and so made me do it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The beach\u00a0project was voided, a win for landwoners. \u00a0But, since an eminent domain qualifying project was involved, the state &amp; local government were able to start accessing the property from day 1.<\/p>\n<p>The landowners also got a win when the court found landowners weren&#8217;t given proper notices.<\/p>\n<p>Day 1 is when a court says, landowners are due compensation for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>fair market value and interest,<\/li>\n<li>a pro-rated share of taxes and attorneys&#8217; fees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nj.com\/ocean\/index.ssf\/2015\/07\/nj_town_must_pay_for_illegally_taking_lbi_property.html\">NJ.COM<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Long Beach Township took property from 7 beach front owners for a storm water project.
