The fight is making a beeline\u00a0to the Legislature, which historically\u00a0favors private property rights.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Background: This eminent domain\u00a0fight began because of court cases, which sided with landowners &amp; private property rights. Legislation moved forward in 2013, but died on an elegant point of order.
