Some of the insurgents at the U.S. Capitol have been facing trials and pretrial conditions include prohibitions from accessing the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why is this important?  It&#8217;s pretty new and novel for these types of crimes to prohibit access to the internet for the defendant. The courts are here to be truth police thereby addressing toxic disinformation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How will this be important? IN 2017 the US Supreme Court struck a NC law that had an internet ban for convicted sex offenders.
